I was born and raised in Hulbert on a farm in the Norwood area. I have 3 sisters, one of which is my twin. It was fun growing up with a twin sister and we are still very close today. I went to NSU where I met my husband, Matt. We have been married for fourteen years and have two children, Lexi-14 and Nathan-9.
We have made our home on the same land that I grew up on, where we enjoy hunting, fishing, riding ATV's, and of course building fences. We also help my parents with the task of raising cows and cutting hay. I enjoy gardening and cooking.
I have been teaching for twenty years including this school year. This will make my fifth year at Hulbert. I am excited to be back teaching math and science to 5th grade.
I love teaching and can't ever imagine doing anything else. But when I am not at school I enjoy watching my children play sports and I am involved in the children's ministry at First Baptist Church Hulbert.
I want to be able to help the children of our community mature into people that will succeed and give back what they have been so richly given. It is my goal this year as your child's teacher to enrich their lives educationally so that they will become problem solvers against any challenge they may face.
